ShareThe financial assistance for the Vietnamese Association in Japan
On May 27th, 2021, Mr. Yasuhira Minami, Acting Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Japan (VAJ) and Dr. Masahiro Fujiwara, President of the FWEAP signed an agreement affording the former with 2 million JPY to be disbursed into VAJ’s emergency food aid project. The signing ceremony was held online due to the spread of the COVID-19.
This project will support the food aid conducted by the VAJ for the purpose of relieving the settlers, students and technical intern trainees from Vietnam who have been financially suffering from the spread of the COVID-19.
With this financial assistance, food including rice, seasonings, canned food etc. will be distributed free of charge to approximately 400 people from Vietnam living in Kansai, Kanto, Hokkaido and Kyushu regions.
