The Financial assistance for the Cambodian Community in Japan (C.C.J.)
On the 11th of June, 2021, Mr. Risei Kusunoki, President of the Cambodian Community in Japan (C.C.J) and Dr. Masahiro Fujiwara, President of the FWEAP signed an agreement affording the former with 1 million and 78 thousand and 7 hundred JPY to be disbursed into the emergency aid project of the C.C.J. The signing ceremony was held online due to the spread of the COVID-19.
This project will support the food and hygienic goods conducted by the association for the purpose of relieving the settlers, students and technical intern trainees who have been financially suffering from the spread of the COVID-19.
With this financial assistance, food including rice, pre-packaged curry, canned food, rice seasoning and hygienic goods including cooling gel sheets, non-contact thermometer etc. will be distributed free of charge to approximately 370 people from Cambodia living in Kanagawa prefecture
