The Financial assistance for refugees and asylum seekers in Kansai Region.

On June 22, 2021, Dr. Masahiro Fujiwara, President of the FWEAP and Ms. Keiko Tanaka, Co-Chairperson of the RAFIQ signed a financial assistance agreement of 200,000 JPY. This agreement will support the food and sanitary goods aid provided by RAFIQ for the relief of refugees and asylum seekers who are financially in need due to the spread of the COVID-19.

With this financial support, RAFIQ will distribute rice, rubbing alcohol, diapers for babies and infants and sanitary napkins for women to around 30 refugees and asylum seekers from 14 households mainly in Osaka Prefecture and some other areas in Kansai Region.
