Joint Re-union by the 1st and 2nd “Special Invitation” participants

On August 1, 2024, participants from "the 1st special invitation" held in September 2023 and "the 2nd special invitation" held in April 2024 gathered at online meeting to discuss the upcoming "New Invitation Program" that will begin in 2025. 

The program for the day included presentations by participant representatives, followed by discussions facilitated by a moderator. During these discussions, participants from various countries exchanged ideas about potential themes for the "New Invitation Program" starting in 2025. Some of the proposed themes include: 

1. **Alleviating Loneliness Among the Elderly**
2. **Ensuring Inclusion and Support for People with Disabilities**
3. **Preventing Isolation of Children in Families Facing Declining Birth Rates**
4. **Disaster Preparedness and Post-disaster Relief in Affected Areas**

The first special invitation participants reconvened after a gap of 7 months since the online meeting in January 2024, while the second special invitation participants met again after a 4-month gap following the April session. Moving forward, efforts will continue to strengthen this network and regularly engage in discussions to shape the future of the "New Invitation" program.
