Mr. Kawaue, Secretary-General of FWEAP attended the celebration event for Sri Lanka Independence Day

　　On Saturday, February 4, 2023, Ｔhe Independence Day Ceremony of Sri Lanka, hosted by Ambassador H.E. Mr. and Mrs. Perera was held in Tokyo, and Secretary-General of FWEAP, Junichi Kawaue attended the ceremony.

　　Ambassador E. Rodney Perera has just submitted the Letter of Credentials to the Emperor of Japan on January 19, 2023.

　　Sri Lanka is one of the Asian countries from which the FWEAP has invited distinguished guests in the social welfare field, and FWEAP has a close relationship with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Tokyo through this program.

　　FWEAP hopes to maintain this relationship and contribute to the overall development of friendly and cooperative relations between Sri Lanka and Japan.
